About the Role

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training before employment.

If you are not a fully trained guard, you will be offered to attend the guard training in March 2026.

As a stationary guard, your primary task is to provide safety for one of our clients by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. Often, you will work at the entrance of a larger company, checking those who enter and exit, but you may also perform patrols and monitor cameras. The tasks vary from client to client. You will work independently and under your own responsibility.

The position suits you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. The tasks are highly varied, and as a guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, at night or during the day. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since we operate every day of the year, weekend work is common.

We are operational every day of the year, and the shifts are usually 12 hours – day or night. Days are often eventful and social, while night shifts provide more calm and time for structure.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
